Thank you for taking the time to consider us as prospective parents.  We live in Olathe, Kansas, can’t imagine a life without a child and will do our best to give your child a loving and nurturing home full of music and arts.

Mike and Anne

First and foremost, we want to thank you for your consideration. How wonderful it is that you are willing to carry a child and give it to a family in need of one. We are Mike and Anne and met in 2001, Thanksgiving weekend almost 8 years ago, and have been married since May, 2006.

About Us

Anne was born and raised in the suburbs of Maryland/Washington, D.C.  Adoption has always been the norm in her family. She herself was adopted over 30 years ago, and is very thankful to her birth parents for giving her life and wanting a better life for her. She has never met her birthparents, but often wishes she has. Anne’s adoptive mother was also a birth mother who made adoption plans for her son.   She is thrilled at the possibility of her personal adoption journey coming full circle, and will help the child understand any adoption issues that they may face. She has a loving Italian Catholic family that includes 2 older brothers and a large step-family as well. She currently works in the Payroll department and enjoys cooking, photography, painting, drawing, gardening and singing in her spare time.

Mike was born into a Catholic family of New Orleans 35 years ago, and moved to Virginia/ Washington, D.C. area in the 8th grade. He has an older sister Ann who still resides in New Orleans. We are very grateful to have a daughter named Carolyn from Mike’s previous marriage.  She stays with us for summers and holidays, and is excited about sharing her bathroom and being a big sister. Mike works for a large telecom company as a content web specialist, and enjoys listening to music, playing guitar, reading, watching and playing sports, and writing in his spare time.

This is our newest member of our family, and she is also ready to share her love.

Our Thoughts

We would love to be able to raise another child, show them the world, and teach them about music, life, literature, and art. We can’t wait to bake cookies, dye Easter eggs, open Santa’s gifts on Christmas morning, play ball in the front yard, and read bedtime stories and give cuddles every night.

We think adoption is a very selfless act and we will do our best to give your child a loving and nurturing home enriched in Christian faith. We look forward to meeting you and communicating with you throughout the years. It would be an honor and a tremendous gift for us to take care of such a special child, whom is loved by so many already.
