Hello! We’re Paul, Annaliessa and Nathan.
Thank you for taking the time to read our profile. We hope you learn a little about us. While we don't know the difficulty of the decision that is weighing on your heart and mind, we appreciate the bravery of your choice and would be grateful to provide a home for your baby.

Our story…

We met in February 2003 through a single’s website. After about a month of emails and phone conversations, we went on our first date. It was love at first conversation as we both knew prior to that date that the other was special. We were engaged that Christmas and married in October 2004.

We talked about having a family from the beginning of our relationship. After a few years of trying to start a family and failed infertility treatments, we decided not to pursue any more treatments but rather to work towards building a family through adoption. Our son, Nathan, was born in June 2010. He has been the greatest joy! We look forward to the opportunity to give another child a full life and help them grow into the best person they can be. We hope to provide them with opportunities to explore all the world has to offer including an education at any level they desire.

Through this process we’ve discovered how important it is for the child to have contact with their birth family. We enjoy an open adoption with Nathan’s birth family. We are open to the amount of contact you feel comfortable with and look forward to another extension of our family.

A little about Paul...

He's 44, 6'8" tall, and a landscaper by trade. Paul is the lead groundskeeper for a local shopping and corporate area. He likes to play in the dirt at work and at home and enjoys sharing this love with our son. Some of Paul’s hobbies include working with livestock and farm equipment, fishing, gardening, traveling, and reading. He has an associate’s degree plus one additional year of college education. Paul grew up on a farm and is the middle of 5 children. Since moving back to the country, Paul enjoys spending time in the garden, working on his tractor and being outside. His hard work in the garden pays off with several quarts of home-canned vegetables and fruits every summer.

A little about Annaliessa...

She's 39 and is a chemist by trade. She currently works for an animal health company in their Quality Assurance group providing support for the laboratory. She likes to use her skills at work and at home for following recipes. Some of her hobbies include cooking and baking, gardening, traveling, arts and crafts, crocheting, sewing and cake decorating. She volunteers at a local outdoor theater giving backstage tours and with the local 4-H kids. Annaliessa teaches cake decorating which is a good excuse to play in the frosting with the kids! She also uses those skills to make birthday cakes for our son. She has a bachelor’s degree in chemistry. She is the oldest of two girls and grew up on a small farm, too.

Meet Nathan…

Nathan is a happy, energetic 6-year old. He loves to play, be outside, laugh and teach us how to have fun! He’s a fan of trucks, tractors, trains, fire trucks and construction equipment. He also enjoys competing as a family in local barbeque contests. He loves to play with his friends and cousins and he can’t wait to be a big brother!

Adopting Nathan is one of the best things we’ve ever done. We love being his parents and can’t wait to see what life brings him!

Where we live…

We recently built a four-bedroom home on Paul’s family farm. It has been in the family since 1900 and we always knew we wanted to live here. Living in a rural area gives us the opportunity to be a part of local agriculture and be where it’s peacefully quiet. It also allowed us to put Nathan in a smaller school district with smaller class sizes. We have a huge garden and are currently raising pigs. We hope to have chickens and a few other animals sometime in the future. Nathan has plenty of space to run, explore and be a kid. We’ are only an hour from a big city for lots of day trip adventures.

In closing...

We hope that you'll consider us to parent your child. We are so excited to welcome another child into our little family. Our extended family and friends are just as excited for a new grandchild and playmate! We know there is a match for us and if you feel that you could be that one, please contact us.
