Dear Expectant Parents,
Thank you for taking the time to look at our profile. Our names are Chris, Kim, and Titus. We are very excited to get the chance for you to learn more about us and our family. We have three pets (1 dog and 2 cats) and a lot of love to give!
Our Story
Our story together started in January of 2012; Chris and Kim met at a local skating rink for a fundraiser for her family. We hit it off from the moment we met. We dated for 4 years before getting married in January of 2016. Our love for each other has grown ever since. We purchased our first house together in March of 2017. We are excited in what God has planned for our future and we hope that your family will be a part of it.
About Chris by Kim
Chris works in Radiology as an X-ray tech and CT tech. He has worked in the field for almost 5 years. In his free time, Chris enjoys family time. It doesn’t matter if it’s going to the grocery store or sitting on the floor playing with toys. Chris also loves to go roller skating and some video games when the time presents itself. Chris enjoys teaching and working on projects around the house from installing to fixing. We live very close to his father and sister so we get to see each other quite a bit.
About Kim by Chris
Kim works in Nursing on a cardiac floor. She has worked as a bed side nurse for 15 years and loves every moment of it. In her free time Kim loves spending time with the family, watching hallmark movies, skating, and seeing friends. Kim works very hard to make sure everyone is taken care of. She is a very selfless person putting everyone before herself. We also live very close to her parents and her brothers and sister. We get to visit with them as well all the time. You can tell we are very family oriented.
Titus
Titus entered this world in October of 2017 and has not stopped since. He loves to run around the house trying to figure everything out. He might do a little taste testing on his way around the house as well. Titus enjoy anything and everything that has a light, buttons, and new to him.
Our Adoption Journey
We always planned on having more children but when we had Titus we had some complications. During pregnancy, Kim was having a hard time with breathing and retaining fluid. Titus had to be taken out 7 weeks early! After the C-section, Kim was diagnosed with pregnancy induced cardiomyopathy (heart failure). It was very hard news for us as we had always planned on adoption after we had two children of our own. Thankfully Kim and Titus recovered from this event but Kim is no longer able to have kids. We feel this is God telling us that now is the time to adopt.
In Closing
We hope that you enjoy reading our profile and learning about us. We look forward to getting the chance to meet you and your family. With adoption, we are not only gaining a child but another family. Thank you for your time.
